Fluorescent tubes and energy-saving bulbs

Not recyclableCarefulNeeds a Pro

Also covers fluorescent tubes.

What to do with it

Fluorescent tubes contain a small amount of mercury vapour and break easily, so never throw one in a bin or a sack of scrap. Keep tubes whole, ideally in the box the new one came in, and store them upright somewhere they cannot be knocked over. Use a Baanza Pro who handles them. If one breaks, open the windows, leave the room for a while, and sweep rather than vacuum.

This needs a Pro who is equipped for it. When the app opens you will be able to find one near you.

Prices on Baanza are set by the buyers near you and shown as a range once they publish them. We never invent one.
