Help and questions

How Baanza works, in plain words. The app opens soon; these are the rules it is built on.

Do I need an account to start?

No. You can look things up in the Academy and start an order without one. You confirm your phone number only when you send it, and that number is your account: there is no password.

Who sets the prices?

The buyers. Each registered Pro publishes what they pay. Baanza shows you the range across the Pros near you and never invents a number.

When do I get paid for recyclables?

After the buyer weighs your load in front of you and you confirm the weight. If you say nothing for two days after they mark the job complete, it is confirmed for you, and you are reminded the day before.

When I pay for a pickup, who holds the money?

Baanza does. It is set aside when a collector accepts your job and released to them only when you confirm the waste is gone.

What if something goes wrong?

Instead of confirming, tell us what is wrong. Your money does not move. The collector is asked to answer, and a person at Baanza decides, usually within three working days.

What if the collector never comes?

If they go quiet after taking your job, they are reminded, and if they still say nothing the job goes to another collector with your money carried across. You are not asked to pay again.

What if nobody takes my job?

If nobody accepts it in two days, it is closed and anything you paid goes back to your wallet.

Is my address shared?

Collectors deciding whether to take a job see only your area. Your street and landmark go only to the one who accepts.
