Opening in Port Harcourt and Abuja

Have your waste taken away

You say how much there is in words you know, see what each collector charges, and pay into Baanza. Nobody is paid until you say the waste is gone.

Six sizes, from a bag to a trailer

A small nylon bag

A day or two of kitchen waste.

One black bin bag

A full black refuse sack, or two or three small ones.

A Keke load

About what a tricycle carries. A week or two for a compound.

A pickup load

More than a Keke can take. A small clear-out, or a shop.

A tipper

A full tipper. Renovation debris, or a compound being cleared.

A trailer load

The biggest there is. A site, an estate, or a business clear-out.

Not sure which? Pick the nearest and add a sentence in your own words. The collector can correct it when they see it, and you agree any new price before they lift anything.

How the price works

Taking waste away is priced by the trip, not by the kilo. Each collector publishes a price that covers coming out to you within a distance, and fuel beyond it. You see every price before you choose.

When a collector accepts, the money is set aside from your Baanza wallet. It stays there while they work and goes to them only when you confirm the waste is gone. If you are not happy, you say so instead of confirming, and a person at Baanza decides.

If the trip is wasted

Sometimes a collector arrives to a locked gate. A collector may ask for an advance towards fuel, which you see before you book, and you are asked before any of it is paid. If you have used Baanza before, your first wasted trip is covered by Baanza, not by you.
