What to do with it

Never flush medicines down a toilet or drain, and never throw them in a bin where a child or animal could reach them. Expired drugs also feed the market in fake and repackaged medicine, so they should not simply be dumped. Take them to your pharmacy, clinic or hospital and ask whether they accept returns.
