What to do with it

Empty a used stoma bag into the toilet, rinse it, then wrap it in a plastic bag and tie it shut before putting it in your general waste bin. Book a Baanza disposal pickup or keep it for your PSP collection. Wash your hands well afterwards. Never flush the bag itself, as it blocks pipes. If a lot of clinical waste builds up at home, ask your pharmacy, clinic or hospital how they want it handled.
