Thermometers

What to do with it
Keep a mercury thermometer out of your general waste bin. Wrap it in thick paper, seal it in a rigid container and label it clearly. If one breaks, open the windows, keep children away, and pick up the beads with card and tape rather than a broom or vacuum, because mercury vapour is harmful to breathe. Digital thermometers count as e-waste. Book a Baanza Pro who handles hazardous and electronic waste to take either type away.
This needs a Pro who is equipped for it. When the app opens you will be able to find one near you.
Prices on Baanza are set by the buyers near you and shown as a range once they publish them. We never invent one.
